The Soap Company Expo.

Since I didn't record the expo of the soap I’m going to explain everything here.
Doing this expo was a challenge for me and my team, we needed a lot of team work, I remembered that two days before the expo we were working really hard on the look of our stand, the TV commercial, and the SHINE disguise, at the end everything for the stand was perfect! We were one of the bests stands of the expo, the other thing was doing the team exposition, we were supposed to do it in English, but our parent wanted the expo in Spanish, so we did it in Spanish, it was really nice, everything was as planed, we had fun and we felt really satisfied of the result!!!

Slow Food

Slow food is a movement that was born in Italy by Carlo Petrini, the members of Slow Food are opposed to fast food on principle, the goal of Slow Food is to oppose fast life. Fast life has led to the disappearance of thousands of local culinary traditions and varieties of food, because industrialized food is easy to package and sell. Fast life has also led to extreme environmental depredation, and Slow Food aims to counteract fast life, starting with the table, but ultimately moving into other fields of play as well.
There are several primary missions for Slow Food, the first is to produce food that is good, clean, and fair, this means that it has to be managed in a sustainable and healthy way, and it has to be harvested in good working conditions. Biodiversity is also an important mission of Slow Food, which has established the attempt to save unique varieties of foods ranging from heritage apples to unique breeds of pig. Finally, Slow Food works to connect producers and coproducers.
A coproducer is the people that inform themselves about the source of their food, and connect with their food producers, so they actively contribute in the process rather than being just passive consumers.
Fast food is obviously in opposition to Slow Food values, which include protecting unique culinary heritage and the environment. But most conventional agriculture is contrary to Slow Food ethics as well, because it is highly mechanized, homogeneous food, grown from seeds engineered to perform in a particular and predictable way, using pesticides and herbicides, and harvested by underpaid labor working in dangerous conditions. Slow Food hopes to educate consumers, get them thinking about where their food comes from, and ultimately reform the way we live, not only at the table, but in all of our actions.

My Education

The basic education started at home, the first two years of my life, my brain absorbed all the basic things, like saying thank you and you're welcome, my parents started to taught me to respect others they taught me, the modals we need to have in the table, like chewing with the mouse close.

When I entered ti kindergarden the teacher re forced the education that my parents first taught me, plus we started to learn the basic shapes; square, circle, rectangle, triangle; we learned the colors and how to write our name; there, in kindergarden I also learned how to socialize, there is where I made my very first friends, the teachers also taught us to be respectful and they also taught us about personal care.

Once I entered elementary school the basic education was done, now there was one thing to focus on, writing and reading, we knew all letters, we were able to write and our reading skills were getting better, the other thing was numbers, we started with the basic adding and subtracting, the years passed abs I was growing up, I started to learned what friendship was, I was starting to identify whats wrong or right, our reading and writing was improving, we learned grammar rules, we knew how to multiplicate and divide, elementary was basically starting to know the basic cultural things and you were totally able to socialize.

Entering junior high was a big step, there you have a different teacher for each subject, the things we learned started to get more difficult, like math because it was a preparation to high school,  I remember that teachers left us a lot of team work, exams were more difficult, you start to learn the responsibility of studying, in the other way you start to make really good friends, some of these friends will be there next to you for all life, you start to have real problems that make you grow as a person-

High School is a really big step, it is like the step you take before taking the big decision of what you are going to do for the rest of your life, school starts to get really difficult, you start to have a lot of works and projects, you are really getting prepared to College, friendship is really important here, because this are the friends that will be the rest of your life with you, this are the friends you will alway love and the ones that will support you in everything, it is almost the last step of your education.

Philanthropy

Philanthropy is the act of donating without receiving something; any type of donation is considered philanthropy, like money, clothing, toys etc. Although everybody can practice philanthropy is also common to see corporations and institutions doing this action like Televisa when they do the Teleton.
I think this action is very positive, because you help a lot of people, you can make someone feel really happy by just living him or her a toy, or maybe some food, or even just to play with someone, its really heartwarming to do this, because it makes you see what you have and it makes you see that there is a lot of people that doesn’t have anything, it really make you analyze, and makes you thank god for all the things that you have
One clear example is when we do the “Time to share” in the school, this is when we go to a school were kids which families have low-incomes, and there we teach them the true meaning about Christmas, we share lunch with them and we play with them, and is really nice to see how this kids smile, and at the end of the day you feel really comforted.
I think that the negative thing about this is that there are a lot of people or enterprises that make this action just so that the society will see that they are doing something for them, but, the true is that they do this with a negative attitude and they don’t do it with the heart.
One example can be when some of the students when is “Time to share” they go with a really bad face and really bad humored, so they don’t really care for making the kid feel good, and this kind of things really upset me.
So we can say that philanthropy is something that we need to inculcate to the society, because it’s a really nice action that may not give you a material reward but for sure it will give you a spiritual reward.
